A Small Change, A More Magical Experience

Starting 01 May 2026, we’re making a few gentle changes to how you’ll experience our elephants at The Bush Camp Chiang Mai and Elephant Hills, designed to feel even more natural and enjoyable for both you and the elephants.

The warm summer season in Chiang Mai has arrived, bringing golden sunshine, blue skies, and unforgettable moments in nature

What’s new:

• Feeding Policy: We will no longer be feeding our elephants by hand. To allow the elephants to enjoy their food at their own pace and to help us manage their diet, they will be fed at designated feeding stations within their free-roaming habitats.

• Food Preparation: You will help our team prepare their food, after which the elephants will be fed in their free-roaming habitat.

• Observation & Connection: You’ll have more time to observe the elephants and enjoy natural moments of connection, where any interaction happens on their terms.

It’s all part of creating a more relaxed, authentic experience, where elephants can be elephants, and you can enjoy them in the most natural way possible.
